Business Development Sales Representative – BI / EPM (Boston, MA – New England Region, United States)


We are seeking Business Development Sales Representatives (BDRs) to qualify consulting services sales needs with current and prospective clients in order to allow Performance Architects to continue our explosive 300%+ revenue growth as an Inc. 5000 company. 

As a member of our Business Development (inside sales) organization, you will own a geographic territory and will support outside sales and the consulting organization in selling business intelligence (BI) and enterprise performance management (EPM) management consulting and systems integration consulting services to organizations of all sizes. A typical day will include activities such as making 50+ calls per day to predefined leads lists; pursuing customer leads through identifying targets on social media, in our CRM system, through liaising with software partners, and from the Performance Architects’ team; and ensuring all customer data and activity is entered accurately in the CRM system.

  • At least one year of successful sales experience with consistent quota achievement required
  • BS or BA degree in business, MIS, or equivalent required
  • Enjoys cold calling and developing new relationships “from the ground up”
  • Experience in the business intelligence or enterprise performance management arenas a major plus
  • Prior experience selling services related to Oracle Hyperion or Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) a major plus
  • Relationships with the Oracle sales organization a major plus
  • Familiarity and willingness to enter data regularly into or similar CRM software a plus
  • Understand what it takes to open up and to develop a new territory
  • Able to communicate with and present to audiences of all levels
  • Prior experience with financial reporting, budgeting, consolidation and accounting practices a plus
  • Proper U.S. work authorization
  • Able to work from home as needed
  • Able to travel up to 10-15% to attend tradeshows and on-site client visits
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
