OAUG Announces New OAUG Endeca Special Interest Group: User Community Focuses on Oracle Endeca Software Training and Best Practices
Atlanta, GA, United States, August 13, 2013 – The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world’s largest knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, today announced the creation of the OAUG Endeca Special Interest Group (SIG).
The SIG was formed to allow users to share information, best practices and the use of Oracle Endeca modules, including Oracle Endeca Commerce, Oracle Endeca Information Discovery and Oracle E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca. Through the SIG, users have access to education and training programs and may provide feedback to Oracle by recommending product enhancements and influencing future versions of the software.
The OAUG Endeca SIG will hold webinars and events for further education regularly. The first webinar will be held August 21 and is entitled “E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca.” The online session gives a brief overview of the SIG and focuses on a group of new applications that enable rapid analysis of operational information via Oracle E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca. The first meeting of the Endeca SIG occurs during Oracle OpenWorld 2013 on Sunday, September 22, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
OAUG users may connect with the SIG through its web site and a LinkedIn group. George Somogyi, Associate IT Director of Corporate Systems for the Newedge Group, and Kirby Lunger, Principal at Performance Architects, will lead the Endeca SIG.
“This special interest group enables Endeca users to participate in a community dedicated to sharing best practices associated with the software’s implementation,” said Margaret Wright, president of OAUG.
